Exploring the most important moments of the Marvel Cinematic Universe and turning them on their heads, taking viewers into uncharted territory. Chadwick Boseman’s final Marvel project before his death. Observer: [Narrating each episode] Time. Space. Reality. It’s more than just a linear journey. It’s a prism of infinite possibilities, where one choice can branch into infinite realities, creating alternate worlds from the ones you know. I am the Guardian. I am your guide through these vast new realities. Follow me and ponder the question… “What if?” When the Marvel logo appears, it switches to an animated form that matches the show’s art style. Adapted for Marvel Studios: Legends: Guardians of the Multiverse (2023). A very simple episode where you have to rush to fit these pieces into the puzzle. And my facial expressions were also pretty flat when I watched this episode because there was no excitement or even a logical story, I get that it’s an obsessive show aimed at kids? But only kids who already know all of the MCU can enjoy it. We’ll see how the next episodes develop, but I’m not really excited about this one. Edit: Episode 2 gave a real sense of what the MCU is about. It was creative and thoughtful with major WHAT IF moments. I really enjoyed watching ‘T’ back on screen. However, the third episode was cut short, which made me edit this review. It was so exciting and interesting to watch that I could have watched the whole movie in this episode. It re-examined the characters we know to the point where you want more. I hope to get a 10-star edit by the end of the season. Edit II: Here’s my next star for “Weird” 39; but a thought-provoking episode that was the best of all in terms of writing, voice acting, animation and plot. Special kudos to Benedict Cumberbatch for his voice as the boss. Kudos to Marvel for making this happen. However, heading into episode 5, the series was definitely entertaining, witty and engaging with quality animation, but again, it shows too much while not giving the audience enough time to absorb things. Still, overall series 9/10 at least until the next two episodes. They need to get past episode 4 to get a 10 from me.
